Get Ready For New Paper Bills!

On May 21, 2008 the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled that

the United States discriminates against the blind and those with limited vision because its paper currency is all the same size regardless of the bill’s value.

Most of the world’s currency is distinguished by color, size, perforations or tactile symbols.

Just think of the simple things like vending machines. It could cost 3.5 Billion to update them to accept new bills.

But not all blind people agree that U.S. money should be changed. The National Federation of the Blind, in Baltimore, sided with the government and told the court that no changes were needed.

What this could mean.

It’s the perfect opportunity for the government to control paper money. By being forced to reprint money for the blind, they could easily use this to roll out RFID chipped bills.

The other possibility is to force people who have saved their money at home instead of a bank, to exchange their money for the new chipped bills.

Not possible you say. Check this out. The EU is already doing it!

South American Forms Union, How Long Until North America Follows

12 nations signed a formal agreement to form the “Union of South American Nations” or UNASUR on March 23, 2008. Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said two of the stated goals are to form a central bank and a common currency.

Of course it’s all in the name of helping the weaker economic countries in South America. By joining together south America becomes the 17 largest economy in the world, behind Norway. And on the appearance it seems like a great deal, people will be able to travel inside all of South American with only having to have a picture idea. But what is really going to happen is they will lose their sovereignty just like Europe when they joined the European Union, and Africa when they joined the African Union.

Do Americans really think we aren’t headed towards the North American Union when every other continents has an Union? Just look at things like the SPP, Nafta, and even rumors of the amero. If your not informed just google those words.

The scary part is there was NO mention of the South American Union on American TV news. The only sources were in newspapers that very few people even read anymore.

Why wasn’t it the head line on CNN?

Why wasn’t it on the front of my local newspaper?

What is it that they are tying to hide from us?

I guess it won’t be long until our flag looks like this.

Dr. Seuss and the killing of Phonics

Theodor Seuss Geisel is better known by his pen name, “Dr. Seuss”, the author of some of the most famous children books of all time. The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, and Hop on Pop has more in common then just being popular. They all share a common characteristic of being constructed almost entirely with “sight words”.

Seuss was commissioned in 1957 to write a book using only 236 sight words. It was a response to the Dewey revolt where phonics were thrown out, and schools went to word recognition. John Dewey is considered the father of the progressive school movement. Dewy believed only scientific method could further human good, and that there was no room for “God” in the education process.

Dr. Seuss wrote his books with good intentions of providing kids with fun, productive stories with exciting entertaining pictures. His stories since have been categorized with the “look say” movement, a method of teaching beginners to read by memorizing and recognizing whole words, rather than by associating letters with sounds.

Parents where encouraged to read and have their kids memorize books like ‘Cat in the HAT”. Which in the long run developed kids into “sight readers” with a holistic reflex rather than phonetic readers with a phonetic reflex. A holistic reader looks at each word as a little picture, a configuration, much like a Chinese ideograph, and tries to think of the word it represents. A phonetic reader associates letters with sounds and sounds out the syllabic units, which blend into an articulated word.

Dr. Seuss also regretted the association with the “look say” movement. He expressed the opinion in Arizona Magazine in June 1981, saying “… I think killing phonics was one of the greatest causes of illiteracy in the country.”

The “look Say” movement is even connected to creating such disorders like ADD and Dyslexia. Educational disorders are thought to be a form of behavioral disorganization created by teaching disorganization. Mainly influenced by the holistic teaching movement.

Here’s some other interesting facts. Dr. Seuss also shares a connection to the Rockefeller’s. He started his career as a political cartoonist and was then hired by standard oil. As an advertiser he worked for FORD, GE, and NBC to name a few.

Cat in the hat was original published by Houghton Mifflin one of the largest educational publisher in the US at the time. They published textbooks, assessments, reference works, and even standardized testing.

It is now published by random house that is owned by Bertelsmann. Bertelsmann is not publicly listed and is majority owned (76.9%) by the Bertelsmann Foundation. A non-profit organization and political think tank that have been accused of being neoliberal. Wanting education out of the private sector into government control.

This is Dave Foreman, the founder of the die hard extreme environmental group EARTH FIRST!. He has been called by some as an eco-terroist for his lengthly wrap sheet. Everything from arson to industrial sabotage. Yet others see him as a visionary and dreamer!

This is the guy that called the human race,”Humanpox”.

I believe this is just another in the long line of fake environmental group that use their association to push their real agenda: depopulation. These people believe that we need to wipe out third world countries in order to save the planet from over population.

One of his ideas is to heard all people into mega cities and then fence off the rest of wilderness so the animals and environmental won’t be harmed.

Who Benefits More From Polar Bears Being Endangered?

From the AP news article, Polar Bears are listed under The Endangered Species Act. For all of you who are about to sigh with relief, lets discuss why this is a bad decision.

Just because they show you a picture of a Polar Bear cub stranded on a floating sheet of ice doesn’t mean they are endangered. After all Polar Bears have been tracked swimming up to 62 miles continuously, and some up to 200 miles.

They show you those pictures to get you to stop thinking with the left side of your brain that handles logically thinking, and to engage the right side of your brain that does all the emotional thinking.

This is important because it’s the first time that the Endangered Species Act has been used to protect a species threatened by the impacts of global warming. This is a very dangerous standard to set because there is concern that this decision could be used to regulate carbon dioxide in the future.

There are studies from the National Center for Policy Analysis, published in “Environment News” in 2007 that shows Polar Bear populations have risen since the 1970s from 5,000 to about 25,000 at present.

Dr. Mitchell Taylor, Polar Bear Biologist, says there is no need to worry, that 11 out of the 13 populations of polar bears are thriving in the arctic and that slightly warming conditions benefits the bears by providing a better habit to find food.

And the Climate Science: Climate Change and Its Impacts study found that wind patterns have more of an effect of the habit then global warming.

So then why all the hype about polar bears going extinct. The US placing them on the Endangered Species List seems to contradict these stories here and here and here and here and here

And why is the US government setting policy instead of Biologist and Scientist?

By placing the Polar Bear on the Endangered Species List, Government now how has action to do 2 things. 1 regulate Carbon dioxide which could lead to things like carbon taxes. 2 prevents the US from drilling for oil in the arctic, which keeps gas prices high.

So the question has to be asked, who benefits more from Polar Bears being endangered: The Polar Bears or the Government?

Fema was created with Presidential Executive Order 12148 on July 20 , 1979 by President Jimmy Carter. The Executive Order merged several federal agencies that dealt with preparedness and civil defense. Many see FEMA as the “secret government” of the United States because it’s positions are non-elected, it does not publicly disclose it’s actions, and has their own budget. And if the President of the United States declares a national emergency, the US would shift into martial Law and the true power of FEMA would be revealed. For a brief history of FEMA click here.

FEMA has always been criticized for their lack of efficiency, from Hurricane Andrew to Hurricane Katrina. They have power to confiscation guns, build detention camps, and suspend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Even former congressman Dan Hamburg is speaking out about what FEMA is up too.
