Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin in as McCain’s VP

John McCain has chosen Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his Vice Presidential candidate.

The McCain Campaign says:

“Her experience in shaking up the status quo is exactly what is needed in Washington today,”

Sarah Palin Background

Palin’s tenure is noted for her independence from big oil companies, while still promoting resource development

Palin is strongly opposed to abortion and supports capital punishment.

She opposes same-sex marriage,

She is a lifetime member of the NRA, while she supports the Constitutional right to bear arms.

Sen. Charles Schumer, D-New York, called McCain’s choice of Palin a desperate one.

the pick of Palin negates GOP arguments that Obama, who is three years older than Palin, doesn’t have the experience necessary to be president.

Personally I think this decisions is all politics. McCain see’s a hole and is trying to capitalize on the women vote, now that Obama has bypassed Clinton. He didn’t choose the most qualified person, he choose the person he thought would give him a boost in the polls.

The media is already killing McCain over the pick of someone younger then Obama, and has no foreign policy experience.

A CNN anastlis even said this could be “game over” for McCain.

The Fruit of Hill & Knowlton

Hill & Knowlton is one of the oldest public relations firms in the United States. It was the public relations firm for the tobacco industry from 1953 through 1968.

The campaigns that convinced Americans that not only was smoking cool, it’s was good for you. With the Help of Edward Bernays, they recruited doctors and dentist to endorse cigarettes as a good after dinner dessert!

The IMF awarded one-year contracts to Hill & Knowlton to take on the fund’s communications in the Middle East and Asia

That’s Sounds like a great idea considering the first line from Edward Bernays book, The Father of Spin

The War on the Persian Gulf was a PR triumph, it was crafted by HIll & Knowlton one of America’s Biggest PR firms. Hill & Knowlton were hired by rich Kuwaitis who hated Saddam.

Hill & Knowlton certainly has a shaky background, their track record suggest they will do just about anything for money. Which serves the IMF well, it’s one goal they both have in common.

The IMF has sought $100 million in savings a year amid falling income, which has been sharply cut because fewer countries are requesting its loans. It has also offered staff buyouts to shed about 380 jobs.

What it sounds like to me is the IMF is trying to recruit third world nations into taking huge loans that they will never be able to pay back so they can modernize. It sounds very familiar to what John Perkins talks about in his book “Confession of an Economic Hitman“

Repayment of these loans was never the goal because In accepting these huge loans, foreign governments played right into the hands of banking system. The more loans they accepted the more control the United States gained over their government, and ultimately their natural resources.

The IMF is NOT the good guys! Just think about it, anyone who has denied the IMF loans though out history has put themselves on a short list of targets of the United States! Think Mohammad Mossadeq, think Hugo Chavez, think places like Iran who don’t want the IMF’s help.

All of this is compound by third world nation refusing to play the Unites States finical enslavement game. Before we invaded Iraq, Saddam changed the currency that they sold oil in, from US dollars to euros. This year in February Iran made the same decision. Convenient that we have heard the war drum for Iran for most of this year. They refuse to play the game.

The IMF has struggled to repair its reputation in many developing countries, including in Asia where its image is still tarnished 10 years after the region’s financial crisis.

I wonder who was responsible for the 10 years of financial crisis?

To this day Ecuador pays 50% of their national budget to repaying IMF loans.

It’s economic slavery.

Another Move on The Internet

Comcast has announced they will Cap users ability to download and upload to the Internet.

On Oct. 1, the cable company will update its user agreement to say that users will be allowed 250 gigabytes of traffic per month

I do realize this is a large amount of traffic, far more then the average user,  who uses less then 3 gigabytes a month. But what about the long term?

We are suppose to see a switch to a Super Fast Internet in the next 2 to 3 years. Where you can send the entire Rolling Stones Music catalog half way around the world in 2 seconds.

So this move by Comcast and other Internet Provides like Time Warner to Cap usages, just feels like they are trying to get in before the curve, where content becomes freely accessible.

What happens when people stop watching TV and only download or stream shows online?

How Could this effect the itunes Store, who everyday is growing into a more global dominated media company.

Comcast has said that they will monitor Internet users trafficc, and if they have to will ask it’s users to stop

Customers who go over the limit are contacted by the company and asked to curb their usage.

Emerging Viruses: Aids & Ebola

I just finished Leonard Hororwitz 530 page book, ” Emerging Viruses: Aids & Ebola – Nature, Accident or Intentional?”

This is not your typically summer feel good book. The information is heavy and at times very scientific. I became very interested in this book after I watched Obama’s former Pastor Jeremiah Wright Live at the National Press Club respond to a question. For some reason I had the day off, and I remember watching the whole interview. I found the section on YouTube and posted it below.

Horowitz lays out the most researched book I’ve ever read, he even makes copies of the documents he quotes and put’s them in the book. He has a straight in front of you approach, at no time in this book did I feel like he was reaching to make a point, or manipulating me to belief something.

It’s not just about AIDS thought, he covers cancer, watergate, Nixon, and even Kissinger

” Henry Kissinger and others were involved in the deliberate development of infective microorganism for the purpose of genocide in Central Africa and other parts of the world”….page 524

Horowitz isn’t some want to be famous author either, he’s a Harvard grad, and had a success career before he spoke about the AIDS virus.

Hororwitz’s final conclusion at the end of the book is sobering:

“My greatest fear, given this history is that today’s public health clinics and physicians offices are like the concentration  camps, and that our FDA approved vaccines are like the gas”….page 529

Horowitz presents the idea that nothing has really changed in the last 75 years, we had traded one form of holocaust for another. A much more quite one, keep out of the media, and much harder to prove.

The Man That Created AIDS

I just got done reading  Leonard Horowitz’s book ” Emerging Viruses: Aids & Ebola – Nature, Accident or Intentional?”

This video has one of the accounts Horowitz talks about in the book. After doing years of research he get his chance to question the man he thinks is responsible for the creation of the AIDS virus, Robert Gallo.

Of Course Gallo plays his question off and says” I don’t know what the hell your talking about”, as if Horowitz doesn’t know what he is talking about.

Obama Picks Biden

Delaware Senator and CFR member Joe Biden

Obama has picked Delaware Senator and CFR member Joe Biden as his running mate.

Biden’s specialty is of course foreign policy and no doubt he has been brought to the Obama ticket to try and counter the experience of John McCain. I wonder if McCain will follow suite and choose someone strong on the economy.

Biden voted for Bush’s twin invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq. Biden, along with the CFR’s Leslie Gelb, has long argued for “decentralizing” Iraq. In other words, breaking it up into ethnic statelets, a plan long proposed by the neocons.

He voted for the Patroit Act, followed the Democrat line to not renew it in 2005, and then went ahead and voted to renew it in 2006.
Joe was an enthusiastic supporter of Clinton’s bombing of Serbia, so much so he sponsored the March 23, 1999 Senate resolution authorizing Clinton to bomb Serbia.

Biden declared “all Serbs should be placed in Nazi-style concentration camps” during Senatorial deliberations in 1999 over NATO’s attack against Serbia. On Larry King Live, he characterized the Serbs as “a bunch of illiterates, degenerates, baby killers, butchers and rapists.”

Indeed, when it comes to Republicans and Democrats, there are no “fundamental disagreements on major policies.” Come November and the election of either Obama or McCain, it will be more of the same.

I found it fascinating that they have a Weather Modification Office, and so openly talk about it. I was propelled to do a little digging to see what I could find out about this Weather Modification Office.

The Beijing Weather Modification Office is a unit of the Beijing Meteorological Bureau tasked with weather control in Beijing and its surrounding areas, including parts of Hebei and Inner Mongolia. The Beijing Weather Modification Office form a part of China’s nationwide weather control effort, believed to be the world’s largest; it employs 37,000 peasants nationwide, who seed clouds by firing rockets and shells loaded with silver iodide into them.

The work of the Office is largely aimed at hailstorm prevention or making rain to end droughts; they have also induced precipitation for purposes of firefighting or counteracting the effect of severe dust storms, as they did in the aftermath of one storm in April 2006 which dropped 300,000 tonnes of dust and sand on the city and was believed to have been the largest in five years. Their technology was also used to create snow on New Year’s Day in 1997. Other proposed future uses for induced precipitation include lowering temperatures in summer, in hopes of reducing electricity consumption. More prominently, they have also been enlisted by the Chinese government to attempt to ensure that the 2008 Summer Olympics are free of rain, by breaking up clouds headed towards the capital and forcing them to drop rain on outlying areas instead.

Georgia-Russia conflict predicted in 2001 video game?

Recent news coverage of the war between Russia and Georgia could well leave gamers with a sense of deja vu.

The South Ossetia war, which began on August 7, bears a close resemblance to events portrayed in the 2001 Xbox and Playstation 2 game “Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon,” the first level of which takes place against the backdrop of a struggle between Georgian rebel forces and the legitimate Georgian government in the South Ossetian region.

I have since heard the interesting point of view that much of our “story Lines” for games and movies is in fact pushed down from the FBI and CIA. Could it be subconsciousness programming. If you think about it, teenagers  who bought the game in 2001 and played it, would now be old enough to be fighting in this war. Possible war games like this could be used to predispose future soldiers to conflicts to silence any moral or ethic questions they would have about the war.
