The Orwellian Noble Peace Prize

Just another sign of the times when an American President who’s fighting two wars and threatening crippling sanctions on another country for wanting to build a peaceful power source, wins the noble peace prize.

I Know, I know, the first war wasn’t his, he inherited it, he’s only been complacent on it for a year. The Afghan war is his, and he’ll be sending more troops over soon, up to 50,000. And you just watch Iran, if they don’t turn the corner on their nuclear program and give into the American pressure Obama will not stand by and watch.

The Pentagon has decided to fast track a new bomb called “Massive Ordnance Penetrator.“, guess what it does. It can hit underground bases up to 200 feet underground. If only we had a situation to bomb something underground in a foreign country…. I’m sure something will pop up.

Obama gets a lot of credit for peace because oh his nuclear non-proliferation talk. He wants to rid the world of nuclear weapons, a noble cause. Yet when we asked Israel to sign the treaty they refused, and because they refused they remain the greatest threat to peace in the middle east. Plus it’s against the treaty to give money to anyone not on the treaty … so I assume now that Obama has won the noble peace prize he will be asking for our billions in subsidizes back from Israel

don’t hold your breath, we have a better chance our Obama creating peace then getting our money back.

The Afghan War is not Obama’s War. First, Clinton laid the ground work for attacking Al Qaeda in Afghanistan and thought Bush would act upon the terrorist organization. Bush created both the Iraq and Afghan War. He pretty much botched the end game on both wars in the course of action. I think you need to read up on facts. I think you have a weak grasp on Middle Eastern politics.

I am reading other things you have placed on your blog and I really stress your need to learn how to read accurately. You apparently like to find facts in the same fashion as Anne Coulter.

Your right about Clinton laying the ground work to attack Al Qaeda, and no one will argue with you over the incompetence of George Bush.

Unfortunately I think the path of least resistance is to just simply deny they are Obama’s wars.

Once you spend troops into a war zone, it’s your war. To simply deny doesn’t hold much ground. Try telling that to the soldiers in Afghanistan, see if they care who’s war it is.

I’m pretty sure when Obama was sworn into office, he was sworn in as “Commander & Chief”. Meaning you get the good with the bad. The President does not have the luxury of passing the buck to the next guy.

I will agree with your point about needing to read the news more accurately. Since most of my information comes from Main stream media I should be careful who I quote…. we all know they can’t be trusted.

where can I find a an outlet that presents a strong grasp on middle eastern politics?
