I go through a lot of news articles every month. I archive what i think is important into 71 different categories. But there are those articles that make a lasting impression and having a wider effect then just the day the story was printed.

I put these stories into my MUST READ folder. I wish I had the time or the space here to explain why I believe each of these stories is so important but I don’t. Hopefully something on this list will get you thinking.

A new superbug found in Britain is major concern: Government scientists … A new superbug that is resistant to all antibiotics has been brought into Britain by patients having surgery abroad. The media is hyping swine fly and we have at least 22 cases in Britain of a superbug.

Swine flu jab link to killer nerve disease: Leaked letter reveals concern of neurologists over 25 deaths in America … A warning that the new swine flu jab is linked to a deadly nerve disease has been sent by the Government to senior neurologists in a confidential letter. Hmm I wonder why this one didn’t get reported in the US.

John Conyers “why would I read health care bill” … This one absolutely floors me. A member of congress say why should be read the bills? because it’s your job …. and the fact that he needs lawyers to tell him what the bill means proves that congressmen aren’t writing these bills. They’re being written by lawyers of the lobbyist and then handed to congress to pass them. That’s enough proof for me right there that you should oppose the health reform bill.

Two executed as China fraud crackdown continues … I love this one. China executed two people for defrauding hundreds of investors out of millions of yuan in beauty parlour, cosmetics and property scams. So Bank CEO’s swindle taxpayers out of trillions of dollars and we give them millions in bonus …. you make a bad business deal and China and your dead!

Judge Orders Fed To Disclose Who Received Bailout Trillions … Bloomberg has sued the FED twice in the last year to get them to disclose where the bailout money went. Now A New York District Judge has ordered the Federal Reserve to disclose the destination of around $2 trillion dollars in bailout funds after the Fed failed to convince the Judge that the records should be exempt from the Freedom of Information Act.

The Man Who Sells America’s I.O.U.’s … The auction of United States Treasury securities, and $32 billion has just been sold in a blink. It was another successful operation for Van Zeck, the commissioner of the public debt, who has the world’s biggest credit card.

Support The Audit The Fed Bills

I emailed both my Senators this morning to ask them to co-sponsor the Senate version of the Audit The Fed Bill. If you haven’t signed the petition go here, if you haven’t emailed your representative go here.

You may think an Audit of the FED is no big deal, but they have hired a PR firm to smooth their image with the public. Plus they are releasing all kinds of political propaganda like this.

Fed Vice Chairman Donald Kohn, basically threatened to raise interest rates if congress doesn’t stop pointing it’s finger at the FED. Thats a sure sign of a bully.

I guarantee the FED will go down kicking and screaming. They would rather watch the US be destroyed and hang onto their power, rather then be audited.

This is a very interesting clip from Michelle Bachmann. It just proves that what healthcare reform really means is Eugenics deathcare. It’s picking and choosing who deserves medical care and who doesn’t. If your too old or have a condition that is considered irreversible. You may find yourself on a waiting list.

The White House has set up a new website to try and hush rumors that Obama wants to socialize health care.

This Blog on whitehouse.gov explains to people there are a lot of “scary” chain emails that are spreading false rumors about the Presidents health reform. The White House Can’t keep track of all of them so they are asking for the publics help.

If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

Are you serious?

It’s interesting because on July 29, 2009 in New York, Janet Napolitano, Secretary, U.S. Department of Homeland Security gave a speech to the Council on Foreign Relations. There were several points in her speech about the need of having citizens inform and cooperate with law enforcement. She said things like this:

…. the untapped resources of millions of our own citizens.

…. Now DHS monitors and shares information about potential homegrown threats as well.

…. And last, but certainly not least, we’re spending considerable time and attention on the cyberworld.

…. First, with respect to individuals and the private sector, we’re taking a much closer look at how we can support and inform our greatest asset, individual citizens, and with them the private sector. You are the ones who know if something is not right in your communities, such as a suspicious package or unusual activity.

All of this gives me the impression that the White House wants the public to get involved. We need to turn in our neighbors for their free speech if it sounds scary or contradicts the Presidents health care plan. And if they do anything suspicious we need to inform local law enforcement.

All of this information will then be monitored by DHS as a potential Homegrown Threats, since DHS has started patrolling the cyberworld.

Do you think the White House will trash any files or delete any information if it is proving that your not a threat?

I find it ironic though that political candidates and the government spend billions of dollars a year or commercials and education to push their agendas to the public. This is called Propaganda. They are trying to sway or convince the public that what the government wants is good for us.

But when the public resist and starts their own propaganda against the government with Youtube videos and rallies. those people are homegrown threats! They need turned in so the government can inspect them to make sure their not terrorist!

Homeland Security Presidential Directives

towards the end of Janet Napolitano speech at the CFR this week. She mentions that Obama used a Presidential Directive (HSPD 5) to declare the secretary of Homeland Security as the principal federal official, in charge of The Swine Flu outbreak in the spring.

heres’ a list of the Homeland Security Presidential Directives

HSPD – 1: Organization and Operation of the Homeland Security Council. Ensures coordination of all homeland security-related activities among executive departments and agencies and promote the effective development and implementation of all homeland security policies.

HSPD – 2: Combating Terrorism Through Immigration Policies. Provides for the creation of a task force which will work aggressively to prevent aliens who engage in or support terrorist activity from entering the United States and to detain, prosecute, or deport any such aliens who are within the United States.

HSPD – 3: Homeland Security Advisory System. Establishes a comprehensive and effective means to disseminate information regarding the risk of terrorist acts to Federal, State, and local authorities and to the American people.

HSPD – 4: National Strategy to Combat Weapons of Mass Destruction. Applies new technologies, increased emphasis on intelligence collection and analysis, strengthens alliance relationships, and establishes new partnerships with former adversaries to counter this threat in all of its dimensions.

HSPD – 5: Management of Domestic Incidents. Enhances the ability of the United States to manage domestic incidents by establishing a single, comprehensive national incident management system.

HSPD – 6: Integration and Use of Screening Information. Provides for the establishment of the Terrorist Threat Integration Center.

HSPD – 7: Critical Infrastructure Identification, Prioritization, and Protection. Establishes a national policy for Federal departments and agencies to identify and prioritize United States critical infrastructure and key resources and to protect them from terrorist attacks.

HSPD – 8: National Preparedness. Identifies steps for improved coordination in response to incidents. This directive describes the way Federal departments and agencies will prepare for such a response, including prevention activities during the early stages of a terrorism incident. This directive is a companion to HSPD-5.

HSPD – 8 Annex 1: National Planning. Further enhances the preparedness of the United States by formally establishing a standard and comprehensive approach to national planning.

HSPD – 9: Defense of United States Agriculture and Food. Establishes a national policy to defend the agriculture and food system against terrorist attacks, major disasters, and other emergencies.

HSPD – 10: Biodefense for the 21st Century. Provides a comprehensive framework for our nation’s Biodefense.

HSPD – 11: Comprehensive Terrorist-Related Screening Procedures. Implements a coordinated and comprehensive approach to terrorist-related screening that supports homeland security, at home and abroad. This directive builds upon HSPD – 6.

HSPD – 12: Policy for a Common Identification Standard for Federal Employees and Contractors. Establishes a mandatory, Government-wide standard for secure and reliable forms of identification issued by the Federal Government to its employees and contractors (including contractor employees).

HSPD – 13: Maritime Security Policy. Establishes policy guidelines to enhance national and homeland security by protecting U.S. maritime interests.

HSPD – 15: U.S. Strategy and Policy in the War on Terror.

HSPD – 16: Aviation Strategy. Details a strategic vision for aviation security while recognizing ongoing efforts, and directs the production of a National Strategy for Aviation Security and supporting plans.

HSPD – 17: Nuclear Materials Information Program.

HSPD – 18: Medical Countermeasures against Weapons of Mass Destruction. Establishes policy guidelines to draw upon the considerable potential of the scientific community in the public and private sectors to address medical countermeasure requirements relating to CBRN threats.

HSPD – 19: Combating Terrorist Use of Explosives in the United States. Establishes a national policy, and calls for the development of a national strategy and implementation plan, on the prevention and detection of, protection against, and response to terrorist use of explosives in the United States.

HSPD – 20: National Continuity Policy. Establishes a comprehensive national policy on the continuity of federal government structures and operations and a single National Continuity Coordinator responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of federal continuity policies.

HSPD – 20 Annex A: Contuinity Planning. Assigns executive departments and agencies to a category commensurate with their COOP/COG/ECG responsibilities during an emergency.

HSPD – 21: Public Health and Medical Preparedness. Establishes a national strategy that will enable a level of public health and medical preparedness sufficient to address a range of possible disasters.

HSPD – 23: National Cyber Security Initiative.

HSPD – 24: Biometrics for Identification and Screening to Enhance National

Number 5 is the one that makes DHS the command center in the midst of national emergency.

It’s sort of a overwhelming list of topics. Many of them concern civil liberty issues, which is what makes most citizen uncomfortable with the amount of power or information that governments have.

First look at “Sample” World Currency

Bloomberg (Link) is reporting that Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, showed off a sample coin of a “united future world currency.” at the G8.

“Here it is,”

Medvedev told reporters

“You can see it and touch it.”

It seems like we are certainly close now, to having a sample coin shown to the press and reported by the AP media. This one world currency is no long just for conspiracy sites, it’s main stream news.

California Close To Paying With I.O.U.’s

Signaling that California is slipping deeper into financial crisis, the state’s controller said Wednesday that his office would soon be forced to issue i.o.u.’s to scores of the state’screditors, as lawmakers failed at their first attempt as a body to close the state’s multibillion-dollar shortfall.

19 states still have to approve their fiscal 2010 budgets before next Tuesday

One week and counting. An unprecedented number of states have only days left to pass their fiscal 2010 budgets.

At least 19 states are still hammering out their spending plans as the recession wreaks havoc with their finances and sparks fights between governors and lawmakers. If spending plans aren’t approved, state workers may not receive their paychecks and some government offices may shut down….. more
