Russia Claims U.S. Is Sending Georgia Weapons

September 10, 2008

I read this article where they claim

European Union leaders delicately approached their relations with Russia, weighing how to punish Moscow for its invasion of Georgia

The European Union has called Russia’s invasion of Georgia unacceptable, and even rumors of sanctions has come out.

But Russia is not backing down.

They claim cargo of military ships bringing aid to Georgia may also have included “military components that will be used for the rearmament” of Georgia’s military.

That the generous $1 Billion in aid from the United States to Georgia is just a ploy to provided the U.S. trained Georgian forces with evevn more weapons.

The assistance package was unveilled as Dick Cheney, the US vice-president, travelled to Tbilisi to demonstrate strong support for Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili.

This along with the $750 Million loan that the IMF is offering, plus additional loans from the EU, totally more then 2 Billion total. Will ensure the alegance of Georgia to the bidding of the West.

Then later in the article, where down towards the bottom they actually admit the Truth:

On Aug. 7, Georgian forces attacked South Ossetia.

It was the Russian forces that repeald the Georgian army and in defense marched into Georgia to counter act their offensive actions.

The Media Trying To Convince Americans That Russia Invaded Georgia

September 4, 2008

Nice picture huh? I found it on this article from the Wall Street Journal. It paints the same picture that the media has been trying to make Americans swallow since this conflict started. That Russia is evil, we have a moral obligation to stand up and protect the little guy, that being Georgia in this case.

The opening line from the article is:

When Russia sent troops into Georgia last month…

They completely forget to mention that it was Georgia who started the conflict on August 7, by killing 1200 ethnic Russian’s in South Ossetia.

“Western television didn’t show what happened in Tskhinvali,” Gorbachev said. “Only now they’re beginning to show some pictures of the destruction. So this looks to me like it was a well-prepared project. And with any outcome, they wanted to put the blame on Russia.”

Apparently lack of truth is not something the media is worried about.

They go on in the article to admit that this sign was hung by the government for a speech by the American educated lawyer, President Mikheil Saakashvili. And that the signs….

Written in English — a language most here don’t understand

As a blogger, I can’t believe the depth that the media is going to, to try and convince us to hate Russia and not question the news.

We now have planted signs for photo op’s, camera men saying the media used his footage of soldiers shooting in a city and said they were Russian, when infact they were Georgian. A 12 year old girl on national TV claiming the Russians saved her from the Georgian troops that were killing people, and  Gorbachev on Larry King Live saying the western media is lying and spinning the whole story.

It’s unbelievable.

But in the 21st century, nations don’t invade other nations

September 1, 2008

What A great line from John McCain regarding Russia. Where has he been living for the last 8 years.

And why is it that the only people who think Russia invaded Georgia are the Americans. the rest of the world isn’t demonizing Russia, it’s just our press.

Even Gorbachev says this is disinformation, it’s become a information war! It’s all lies. He stats that at 4 minutes into the video

Georgia-Russia conflict predicted in 2001 video game?

August 21, 2008

Recent news coverage of the war between Russia and Georgia could well leave gamers with a sense of deja vu.

The South Ossetia war, which began on August 7, bears a close resemblance to events portrayed in the 2001 Xbox and Playstation 2 game “Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon,” the first level of which takes place against the backdrop of a struggle between Georgian rebel forces and the legitimate Georgian government in the South Ossetian region.

I have since heard the interesting point of view that much of our “story Lines” for games and movies is in fact pushed down from the FBI and CIA. Could it be subconsciousness programming. If you think about it, teenagers  who bought the game in 2001 and played it, would now be old enough to be fighting in this war. Possible war games like this could be used to predispose future soldiers to conflicts to silence any moral or ethic questions they would have about the war.

An interesting site is the Ghost Recon Wiki Page, I wonder if any of the other conflicts will prove to be as accurate.

Georgia Started the War Not Russia

August 20, 2008

A 12-year-old American girl who was caught up in the brutal assault by Georgia on South Ossetia attempted to tell the truth about who the real aggressors were during a live Fox News interview, but she was quickly silenced by the host.

Western media coverage of the conflict has reflected a virulently pro-Georgia bias since the very start, once again proving that the press is not independent, but simply a mouthpiece for the same Anglo-American power structure for whom Georgia is merely another client state.

The Cut and Paste Media, Misleading The Public To Push Their Agenda

August 19, 2008

CNN last week showed Georgian forces attacking Russian civilians in Tskhinvali, the provincial capital of South Ossetia, but then claimed it showed Russians attacking Georgians in the Georgian town of Gori.
