The “Change” I Want To See Obama Make

November 5, 2008

He promises to be the President of Change, and it got me thinking to what kind of change I’d like to see President Obama make in the White House. I made a short list below, not all of them have to be accomplishes, I’d be happy with say any combination of 25% of them.

– Will Obama repeal Patriot Acts I and II as well as reversing Bush’s signing statement and acknowledging the repeal of the John Warner Defense Authorization Act?

– Will Obama support Dennis Kucinich’s efforts to bring war crimes charges against Bush, Cheney and others for deceiving the country into a war or will he protect them against such charges like Nancy Pelosi has done?

– Will Obama bring war crimes charges against Bush, Cheney and others for authorizing torture and will the torture of suspects under U.S. detention, a complete violation of both the Constitution and the Geneva Conventions?

– Will Obama withdraw American troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, with transferring soldiers to another third world country?

– Will Obama end the warrantless secret surveillance and phone-taps of American citizens under the FISA ACT?

– Will Obama follow through on his rhetorical support for the second amendment or will he seek to ban guns as he did in Illinois?

– Will Obama target the real cause of the financial crisis- the Federal Reserve – or will he simply go along with the bailout plan that he helped pass.

– Will Obama strengthen our national sovereignty by pulling us out of the United Nations and NATO, and cracking down on illegal immigration, or will he continue the presidential support for NAFTA and the SPP that are destroying our middle class?

– Will Obama pursue universal health care, or target the pharmaceutical industry who has pushed health care cost through the roof?

– Will Obama join the charge of main stream analyst who want to make preschool mandatory, and continue the crack down of home schooling, or will he dismantle the Department of Education and repeal the “No Child Left Behind Act”.

– Will Obama take his responsibility of protecting the Bill of Rights seriously and help restore our civil Liberties that got trampled on under the Bush Administration?

– Will Obama continue the push for a globalized United States or will he help return the power that the constitution grants the states back to where it belongs?

I think we already know the answer to the majority of my questions above.

Democratic Congressman: Representatives Were Threatened With Martial Law In America Over Bailout Bill

October 4, 2008

This is the kind of stuff that goes on in congress! Dennis Kucinich calling the bail out immoral, Mary Kaptur saying illegal criminal activity is going on, Brad Sherman saying people were threatened with martial law, and over 90% of the people against the Bail out, and yet congress still passes it!

It is clear to me, congress and washington no longer work for us.

Dennis Kucinich Calls Bailout Immoral

October 1, 2008

Dennis Kucinich seems to be one of the few people in congress that actually takes his job of serving the people seriously.

Paulson & Bernanke, Creating The New World Order

September 23, 2008

Isn’t it convenient that Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson is the former CEO of Goldmans Sachs Group. Which along with Morgan Stanley, are set to benefit the most from the $700 Billion “Bail Out“.

not to Mention the recent acceptance of Morgan Stanley and Goldman as commercial bank subsidiaries, that are now set up to receive deposits, and gives them the same access as other commercial banks to the Fed’s emergency loan program.

But Robert J. Ellis, a senior vice president at Celent, a financial-services research firm, said he wouldn’t be surprised if the firms each struck a deal “within weeks” to merge with a bank, in an effort to quickly build their deposit base.

Ron Paul has criticized the government for their bail out plan, and lays out a brilliant summary of what has gotten us into this mess here. We don’t need more government intervention, it will only lead to greater instability and push us closer to the edge.

Chris Dodd, of course doesn’t mind if the government passes the bail out, as long as government has control over the companies they bail out. The Government already took control of Fannie and Freddy earlier this month.

The New York Times even calls this bail out the “financial equivalent of the Patriot Act.” It is nothing more then a power grab. This whole financial melt down has been planned and executed to perfection. There have been dozens if not hundreds of financial experts in the last decade that have warned us of this. It is a huge shift of power to the executive branch.

Adam Davidson of NPR blogs about the so-called bailout bill as follows:

I would guess that this has to be one of the biggest peacetime transfers of power from Congress to the Administration in history. (Anyone know?). Certainly one of the most concise.

The Wall Street Journal, in an article titled “The New World Order: More Banks Will Need Capital Infusions”says

that the government acted to save investment banks that were so interconnected with other banks that their failures would have endangered the system, and the way the new system is shaking out, banks will be more interconnected with their financial partners than ever.

There is alternative plans though,Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) outlined a proposal he said would create
“a genuine ownership society,”

By giving taxpayers a stake in the companies the government will be saving with its proposed $700 billion package. Kucinich wants to set up the “United States Mutual Trust Fund” to convert assets purchased by the government into shares that would be distributed to every man, woman and child in the country. Every American would receive about $2,300 worth of shares because that is the cost of the bailout package to each individual. Of course this plan is not being talked about.

So the Bail out, if it was passed right now, would give Ben Bernanke, the head of the federal reserve. Which does NOT work for the United States government. They are a private business that is in the profits industry. Along with Henry Paulson the complete control over who gets the $700 Billion, and what they buy with it. They could easily use the money to buy as much gold as they can to try and stabilize the markets. Of course that sounds like a good thing, but then you realize, we “The Tax Payers”, are paying for the federal reserve to buy real gold.

So they get the real assets, and we get the bill!

This sounds a lot like the Untied States taking a big leap into Fascism. I know when people hear that word they automatically think or Nazi Germany, and denounce that anything like that could happen here. But a simple definition for Fascism is simply when the decision of the government are made to accommodate the best interest of corporations instead of the people.

A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.

Whats nerve racking is the amount of main stream news, The Wall Street Journal, The BBC, even China, that is calling this crisis the creation of the New World Order.

Don’t forget their motto, “Order out of Chaos”

35 Reasons To Impeach Bush

June 17, 2008

Dennis Kucinich just presented congress with 35 articles of impeachment against George W. Bush. And he said if congress doesn’t decide to act on it, he will present 60 articles next month.

Imagine the courage it takes as a member of congress to stand up and say George Bush should be impeached for these reasons. Thereis a great video below of him presented this to the house. You don’t have to watch all of it, but Please watch the first 1 minute and 40’ish seconds.

Listen when Kucinich starts talking and then he stops and says “The house is not in order” and the speaker of the house Huffs at him! What disrespect to show to a member of congress.

You can read the 35 articles of Impeachment here
You can download the 35 articles of Impeachment here

Let me also say I don’t agree with everything Kucinich does, I don’t like his gun policy just to name one. But he has pr oven to be one of the few in congress that has gained the reputation for being a truth teller.
