The New Media For The Obama Administration

November 9, 2008

I hope this isn’t the new media for the Obama Administration, criticizing and belittling anyone who says anything about Obama.

Notice how Nader doesn’t even flinch after Shepard Smith says “what was that”. Nader didn’t back down, he didn’t use the words “Uncle Tom” in a way to slander Obama, He explained himself  clearly about why he used the term.

Uncle Tom: A black man who will do anything to stay in good standing with “the white man” including betray his own people

Nadar says “It’s very Simple, He voted for the bailout, supports expanding the military budget, opposesse single payer medicare, doesn’t support a living wage.”

Obama has backed corporate interest instead of the interest of the people, and with his new administration he has to decide whether to keep his promises that he made to middle class America or to betray them and follow the script of former Presidents and keep pushing laws and legislation that back corporations interest.

Even at the end right when Smith lets Nader go, you can he Nader start to say “Do you know what the historically meaning” and then they cut him off.

The point of this is that even if you don’t like Nader, and there is plenty of people out there who don’t, he still has a right to freee speech. And When did Fox News become so Obama star struck, oh ya about 5 mintues before he won the election.

“Wallstreet has turned into a giant gambling casino”

- Ralph Nader, on the Bill Maher Show

you make not like Ralph Nader, but regardless of how you feel about him, it’s a crime thats he’s not aloud a seat in the Presidential debates. He constantly holds between 6-10 % with out any main stream cover. Imagine if he was given time on prime time TV next to the other 2 candidates. Corporate America has to block third parties for fear their ideas would become contagious to the masses.
